Morgana skins in League of Legends were refreshed this week among fans after the new update to Morgana and twin sister Kayle sees her receive a visual overhaul that updates her model. The rework also softens Morgana from a vengeful evil schemer to a tragic figure who rages against the heavens that could not comprehend the mortal life. In recognition of her new wardrobe, here are the five best Morgana skins, adjusted for her new look, for players to don when they hit the Rift with the new Fallen Angel.
5. Sinful Succulence Morgana
Between warring against her twin sister and raging against the unfair heavens, Morgana doesn't have a lot of time to herself. When she does get some free time, though, she runs her bakery, the Sinful Succulence. The flames are too hot, the bread is a bit chewy, and the gingerbread men have a chance of running out the door, but bless her heart for trying.
4. Blackthorn Morgana
The Blackthorn Morgana skin always tapped into the fairy nature of her inspiration, Morgan Le Fay of Arthurian mythos. With her thorny themes of dark forests, the new splash art pits her against a Kayle whose armor wouldn't look out of place at Camelot's Round Table. For history buffs, it's a nice touch.
3. Bewitching Morgana
Bewitching Morgana wouldn't look out of place at a Halloween party, but for those who want to feel a bit sexy instead of vengefully, bitter and tormented, then this classic witch costume is a perfect fit. If nothing else, it makes Morgana look a bit more relaxed for a change instead of wracked with fury or angst.
2. Victorious Morgana
The regal Victorious Morgana grants near-everything: stained glass windows, heavenly lights, elegant power, and a tantalizing slit to expose a leg. The main flaw is that the Victorious Morgana skin is no longer available; it could only be obtained by players who ranked Gold or higher in 2014.
1. Lunar Wraith Morgana
A flair of the exotic pairs well with Morgana's vaguely sinister appearance, and her depiction as a ghostly dragon spirit in her Lunar Wraith skin epitomizes that look. It might be the recent Lunar New Year event, but there's something about the Lunar Wraith skin that makes Morgana feel most like herself. It could just be that enigmatic little smirk.
