Alexi Lalas is a well-known former American soccer player who primarily played as a defender. He has been a lead studio and game analyst at Fox Sports since 2015. He comes to FOX Sports from ESPN, where he was the lead studio analyst for the network’s coverage of the FIFA World CupsTM in 2006, 2010, and 2014.
He was named President and General Manager of the San Jose Earthquakes after retiring in 2002; he held the same position with the New York MetroStars in 2005 and the LA Galaxy in 2008 before joining ESPN.
