During her career as a journalist, She has received different professional awards including an Emmy for the coverage of the tragic shooting death in Orlando of a police officer. Before joining WESH-TV in 1997, Amanda was serving for WMUR TV as a news anchor.
Dukes is also talented in singing and she has extended her performance at the Miss America Pageant system and in college. Additionally, Amanda was also New Hampshire’s Junior Miss and was first runner-up to Miss New Hampshire.
