Annie Weinstein Richardson was one of four people who were stabbed during the incident that occurred on Monday morning at Louisiana Tech University.
The incident is believed to have been carried out by Jacoby Johnson, who has been recognized as a suspect by the police. According to the university, Johnson, who is now 23 years old and was a senior student at the institution, was first charged with four counts of attempted murder but has subsequently been charged with second-degree murder as well. According to the Associated Press, Ruston Police Chief Steve Rogers made the allegation that Johnson used a folding knife with a blade that was around four inches in length.
