This Mizner Park landmark is offering barbecue and early-bird menus for the summer.
“Q & Brew” selections will be offered Wednesday nights until Labor Day, with three unlimited local craft beers for $15. Smoking Barrel Blackberry Bourbon Lemonade was also created for the occasion ($9).
“We came up with Q & Brew because barbecue is very popular with a lot of people, and we believe we do a very good job with barbecue,” says Patrick Broadhead, executive chef and partner. “We also thought people would enjoy the bottomless beer, which goes hand in hand with barbecue. We’re planning to make a big, festive night of it.”
Choices include pulled pork sandwich ($14), N’Awlins BBQ Shrimp on grilled crostini ($15), Texas smokehouse burger ($16), baby back ribs with maple bourbon barbecue sauce (half rack, $18; full rack, $29), free-range, wood-grilled chicken ($21) and all-natural brisket ($24).
The three-course “Wine & Dine” menu returns from 5 to 6:30 p.m. daily. An appetizer and a dessert are complimentary with purchase of a select entrée, such as wood-fired bacon-wrapped meatloaf ($19), Korean BBQ shrimp and noodle bowl ($24) and crab-crusted mahi mahi ($29). A select bottle of wine accompanies purchase of two entrees.
