Buffs for Darius and Kog'Maw Possibly Coming in League of Legends Patch 8.19

Buffs for Darius and Kog'Maw entered the Public Beta Environment Wednesday as part of the latest League of Legends Patch 8.19 PBE update, signaling their likely arrival in the live client later on. The changes come alongside new chromas for Championship Kha'Zix and loot tied to the upcoming League of Legends World Championship.

According to the Public Beta Environment patch notes, the latest round of tentative League of Legends buffs targets Darius' Crippling Strike (W), increasing its bonus physical damage from 40/45/50/55/60 percent to 50/55/60/65/70, and his Apprehend (E) armor penetration from 10/15/20/25/30 percent to 15/20/25/30/35.

Kog'Maw received a buff to his movement speed from 325 to 330 and an increase in his Living Artillery (R)'s range from 1200/1500/1800 to 1300/1550/1800. His Caustic Spittle (Q), on the other hand, had its armor and magic resistance shred reverted from 20/25/30/35/40 percent to 20/22/24/26/28. Both changes are in line with context given in a Tuesday Quick Gameplay Thoughts.

In addition to the balance changes, Riot Games added 28 team chromas for Championship Kha'Zix and a bevy of new loot item tied to worlds, from an orb and token to Championship summoner icons and borders for each of the champions with Championship skins.
