My Project

Desmos, one of the leading creators of online mathematical tools and visualizers (think graphing calculator) has recently released an entire curriculum for the middle grades that is fully aligned to Illustrative Mathematics (the leading math curriculum and the one we use at our school).

Since Desmos's curriculum is so new, my school did not budget for any additional curricular purchases, but I have been testing it out with my 6th graders and they love it!

The Desmos curriculum has both interactive applets and visualizers for conceptual learning as well as paper-and-pencil resources for written work as well. It's a terrific combination and very well done, as is always the case with Desmos.

I have a free trial until the end of December, but I am looking for $1500 to extend the use to the end of the year. Please help my students get this blended curriculum for the rest of the year!
