Elizabeth Soukhotine (known as Lisa) was Mel Ferrer`s 5th and final wife. Born in Belgium, her father was a Russian émigré whose parents fled Russia during the Bolshevik Revolution.
She was living in London and an editor of children`s books when she met her future husband Mel Ferrer. Their wedding took place in London on February 18, 1971 – about two years after Mel`s divorce from Audrey Hepburn was finalized. Before his marriage to Elizabeth Soukhotine in 1971, Ferrer had a relationship with 29-year-old interior designer Tessa Kennedy.

- Frances Gunby Pilchard, for the 2nd time; they remarried in 1944, and divorced in 1953, after having two more children together: Pepa Philippa Ferrer (born 1941, conceived during his marriage with Tripp) and Mark Young Ferrer (born 1944).
