The mysterious Galaxy skin for Fortnite: Battle Royale has been revealed at the Samsung Galaxy Unpacked 2018 conference.
Epic Games recently announced that they will be rolling out waves of invitations for the Battle Royale on Android devices. In addition to some V-Bucks players can obtain by pre-ordering the Samsung Galaxy Note 9, the Galaxy skin will be given as a bonus. It looks like the whole process of introducing Fortnite to Android will be similar to IOS devices.
The FAQ page for Epic Games has been updated and now includes information regarding Android devices.
The official statement from Epic Games' FAQ in regards to the Galaxy skin reads, "Play Fortnite on a Samsung Note 9 or Galaxy Tab S4 and you get access to the Galaxy outfit. The Galaxy outfit will appear as a free item for you to claim in the in-game Fortnite store."
It seems players only have to play Fortnite on one of the select devices to be eligible for the Galaxy skin. Albeit a bit unfortunate that such a unique skin is an exclusive one, this is a huge partnership between Samsung and Epic Games.
