Formerly gossip fodder but now a contented single mum, Terri Holladay reappeared in the spotlight last week for an event for Dutch appliance maker Princess. The former model, who has a son, Roman, with playboy tycoon Cecil Chao Sze-tsung, is an ambassador for the brand.
'There's no scandal to tell. I go to bed every night at 9pm,' Holladay (below) said. 'I'm still based here, but I do spend about five months a year working outside Hong Kong or seeing family in the States.
'Princess treats me very well. It's a family brand so I keep a low profile. I don't want the Chinese tabloids to have any opportunity to make up stuff about me being drunk or my dress falling off. The only other thing I've done lately is trademarked my name in China.
'Roman is 14 now. He's really smart. The reporters were just asking him if he has a girlfriend, and given Cecil's reputation, he replied 'just one at a time'.'
As for the party itself, the view at Central Plaza's Apex is always amazing. Also, who can argue with a free sushi counter? However, since they are trying to sell a line of kitchen grills, cookers and hotpots called Let's Cook, wouldn't it make more sense to actually prepare some edibles using theses devices instead of just displaying them like rarefied works of art?
