Gosaku Armor Ghost of Tsushima: How to Get

Gosaku Armor Ghost of Tsushima is an armor set reward from the Mythic Tale quest "The Unbreakable Gosaku," in the Toyotama region of the province. Players can activate this quest after speaking to a bard who sits at the southern entrance of Akashima Village.

The start of this quest involves learning the legend of Gosaku—a farmer who stole a samurai's armor in order to stand up to a group of bandits threatening his homestead. Upon his death, several neighboring farmsteads were given keys to unlocking the armor.

Gosaku Armor Ghost of Tsushima: How to Get

Unlocking Gosaku's armor means reliving his tale to a certain extent. The keys are held in farmsteads that are currently under the control of Mongol forces. Keep in mind that the Mongols have taken the farmhands and families hostage, and will likely execute them if you come too close. Your best bet is to lure the guards and enemies away from the defenseless victims or pick them off one-by-one.

The six farmsteads are:

  • Iijima Farmstead
  • Koshimizu Farmstead
  • Yagata Farmstead
  • Kuta Village
  • Ohama Fishing Village
  • Aoi Village

After freeing the farmsteads, look for a rocky peak just east of Fort Ito. Along the side you'll find a small sealed door. Unsurprisingly, the Mongols aren't too happy with you after you ruined their hostage situation. An ambush awaits you before you have a chance to unlock the rocky door.

Make quick work of the Mongols, step up to the door, unlock it, and head inside the threshold. You're going to need to reach the top of the hill. Fortunately, there are plenty of places to grapple and climb. You'll find Gosaku's armor at the very top along with his headpiece.

Ghost of Tsushima is currently available for the PlayStation 4.
