Take a seat at either of the extra-long bars at the Bar Louie in Boynton Beach, either inside or outside under the awning. By the end of happy hour, both seating sections are nearly full with a wide range of casually dressed tipplers, both young and old.
Happy hour happens every day at Bar Louie, except Saturday. Monday through Friday draft beers, wines and signature martinis like the Diva, with SKYY pineapple, PAMA Liqueur, pomegranate syrup, pineapple juice and fresh-cut pineapple, or The Clover, served with Maker’s Mark, Hennessy, agave nectar, lemon and orange juice topped with an orange twist, are half off.
Select appetizers like the spicy Verde Chicken Flatbread ($6.15), served with grilled chicken, house-made salsa verde, red onions, jalapeño, queso fresco and cilantro, Crispy Calamari ($5.30) and Bruchetta Pomodoro ($4.30) are also half off.
Bar Louie turns things around with reverse happy hour Thursdays and Sundays from 10 p.m.-2 a.m., with $3.25 drafts, $4.25 wines and $5.25 signature martinis.
Other Bar Louies throughout South Florida, including West Palm, Midtown Miami and Coconut Creek, offer the same happy hour.
