How to Fish in AC Valhalla
Fishing in AC:V has two primary uses: increasing survival and producing gold. It's one of the first mini-functions players learn as they scour the open-world in search of war and richest. There are several large bodies of water and opportunities to cast a line during the adventure. So, why not give it a try?
Once a players chose a spot to fish, they need to press down on the D-Pad to bring up the command menu. They can aim their cast with by holding the left trigger and cast the line b y tapping once with the right. When they feel a bite, they can hook the fish by pressing the right trigger again and reel in the catch with a combination of X and A.
Unsurprisingly, different fish from different areas will put up varying levels of resistance to being caught. A player's perfectly cast line can snap if put under too much tension between the character and the catch. As with real fishing, allowing the fish some slack before attempting to re-reel can be helpful to bring it home.
