Before joining KFOR, Chaney served for nine months at KWTV, a CBS affiliate based in Oklahoma as a news reporter. Whenever she is not at the station, Joleen enjoys hiking, traveling, and spending time with her adorable two children, CJ and Cadon.

The amazingly talented journalist joined her current station as a news intern in June 2007. However, a week later Chaney was permanently hired as the station’s assignment editor and weekend writer. Chaney later left the station and relocated to Wichita Falls, where she was hired as a morning anchor at KAUZ-TV.
A year later, She moved back to Oklahoma at KFOR-TV, where she reported and anchored the news. Additionally, for two years, from June 2014 to June 2016, Joleen served at a local television station before returning to her current station.
