Platinum-selling singer Lana Del Rey is bringing her Endless Summer Tour to West Palm Beach, but will Courtney Love be joining her?
Del Rey will perform June 16 at the Cruzan Amphitheatre, with tickets on sale 10 a.m. Saturday at LiveNation.com (and via the LiveNation app). Prices are $19-$73.50.
The singer’s most recent South Florida performance, an April date at the Fillmore Miami Beach, was a quick sell-out with fans of such hits as “Summertime Sadness,” “Young & Beautiful” and “West Coast.” And her popularity has only increased since, with the album “Ultraviolence” listed among the best of the year by Rolling Stone, Stereogum and other publications.
The stylish Del Rey, who has two songs on the soundtrack of Tim Burton’s Christmas Day release “Big Eyes,” also can be found on the cover of the current issue of Maxim.
Each stop on the Endless Summer Tour is scheduled to include an opening act, which at the first eight shows will be Love, the cantankerous and curiously watchable former leader of Hole. The next set of performances on the tour, including the West Palm Beach show, lists the opening act as “a special guest TBA.” Here’s hoping Love enjoys herself so much that she agrees to do the whole tour.
