She began her career in meteorology in the year 2013 by working for Lakeshore News and WYIN TV. She also did some internships with Amy Freese-Fox Chicago, and Tom Skilling-WGN before starting his professional career in meteorology.

She is also the of the American Meteorological Society and National Meteorological Association based in Indiana. She also joined WCCO-TV in the year 2018 as a meteorologist in the Twin Cities where her introduction to the WCCO crew was described as a major weather shock.

She also covered various weather conditions while working for CBS affiliates across the country: record-setting drought in Lubbock, TX; covering severe storms in Central IL; and historic wildfires in Sacramento, CA.

He began his career at CBS Sacramento, She has also had the opportunity to explain in depth the forecast and scientific details during the record-setting 2017 Atlantic hurricane season, which brought extreme devastation from Hurricanes Harvey, Irma, and Maria.

When she is not working, in her free time she volunteers as a K9 Search& Rescue handler with the Northstar Search & Rescue Team. She and her K9 “Thunder” team are Wilderness II Tracking/Trailing Certified. They work with Northstar SAR to help locate missing persons across Minnesota and Western Wisconsin. Meadows is also a Certified National Search And Rescue Technician II.
