Orange deputies investigating false bomb threat at Hunter’s Creek bar

The Orange County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a bomb threat that happened Saturday night directed at cars parked at Miller’s Ale House in Hunter Creek, according to a spokesman.

Someone called in a threat around 7 p.m. that there was an explosive device planted in a vehicle near the sports bar in the 13000 block of John Young Parkway, said Cmdr William Armstrong.

The area was on lockdown while K-9s searched the parking lot but no threat was found, Armstrong said, adding that traffic resumed at 11 p.m.
