UPDATED: CBS continues to offer the most-watched Tuesday series in “NCIS” and “Bull.”
But NBC is thriving with young adult viewers, and Orlando is contributing to the success. Orlando singer Christian Cuevas has made it to the Top 11 on “The Voice,” which drew 9.8 million total viewers this week, according to Nielsen ratings released Wednesday afternoon.
“This Is Us,” which stars Orlando’s Mandy Moore, drew 9.5 million. The freshman drama is actually doing better than “The Voice” with young adults, an impressive feat.
CBS had the biggest audiences in each time slot: “NCIS” with 14.7 million, the new “Bull” with 11.9 million and “NCIS: New Orleans” with 9.2 million. NBC concluded prime time with “Chicago Fire” and 7 million viewers.
ABC’s standouts were “The Middle” with 6.2 million, “American Housewife” with 5.3 million and the special “David Blaine: Beyond Magic” with 5.1 million. The CW’s standout was “The Flash” with 3 million. Fox’s best was “Brooklyn Nine-Nine” with 2.2 million.
In Orlando, the most-watched programs were on CBS: “NCIS” with 256,048 viewers, “Bull” with 221,903 and “NCIS: New Orleans” with 149,318. According to Nielsen ratings supplied to the Sentinel, they were followed by “The Voice” with 134,248 and “This Is Us” with 99,981.
With the local 18-to-49 age group, “The Voice” was tops. It was followed by the David Blaine special on ABC, a “Criminal Minds” repeat on ION, Panama vs. Mexico in the World Cup on Telemundo and ABC’s “Fresh Off the Boat,” which is set in Orlando. (That sitcom had 4.3 million total viewers nationally.)
