Palm Beach County State Attorney Barry Krischer and Dr. Philip Colaizzo of Jupiter were recently honored as attorney and physician of the year at a fund-raiser sponsored by the Palm Beach County Medical Society and the Palm Beach County Bar Association.
The event, attended by more than 350 people, was held at Ragtops Motorcars in West Palm Beach and raised more than $10,000 for Home Safe of Palm Beach County.
Home Safe is a center for children who have been physically and sexually abused. The center also helps agencies investigate child abuse cases.
“Dr. Philip Colaizzo’s compassionate commitment to our community and to our children serves as an example to all of us,” said Bradley Feuer, co-chairman of the fund-raiser.
“Barry Krischer’s outstanding dedication to the children of Palm Beach County and his work on their behalf is a shining example,” Feuer said.
