PROVO, Utah – A 19-year-old hiker has been rescued out of Slate Canyon, east of Provo.
Provo Fire and Rescue Team said they received a call of a possible stranded hiker about 8 p.m. Thursday, and were working on locating the hiker in “some real poor weather conditions.”
At approximately, 9:15 p.m., Provo Fire and Rescue said the hiker was found and was assisted down to be checked by Provo paramedics.
