Stylish Mirage Ultimate Strategy in Apex Legends

A new stylish tactic may be at the cornerstone of Mirage gameplay soon in Apex Legends. The tactic was found by Reddit user stellaren, and involves Mirages patched ultimate ability.

Here's how the tactic works. While activating Mirages Ultimate, turn your character around and walk backward. By doing this, the player can attempt to disguise themselves as one of Mirage's clones dispersing. So long as the player walks backward in a straight line, the player will be walking the same path as one of the decoys. On top of that, the recent patch of Mirage's ultimate means that every decoy makes a walking sound, making it easier for players to attempt to disguise themselves. In previous patches, Mirage's decoys didn't make a noise while moving. This made the player themselves easier to spot.

The most difficult part of using this tactic is timing. Players only have a small window to activate their decoys and turn themselves around to disguise themselves. On top of that, if a player doesn't walk in a straight line or is crouched when moving, the player gives themselves away.

Aside from that, this strategy is fairly easy to attempt, and can make some opponents look very silly.
