The dress’ high-neck perfectly complemented her Chopard high jewellery. The earrings in 18-carat white gold and diamonds come from the Precious Lace collection. The actress, who plays Queen Elizabeth in The Crown, also wore a regal ring with a 5.23-carat emerald cut diamond. She was nominated in the best actress category for her portrayal as the main character in The Lost Daughter.

The gender-fluid glamour continued with a bejewelled necklace in white gold – evoking a sparkly tie – with spinel, onyx and diamonds from Chanel. Stewart was nominated for her much-complimented portrayal of the late Princess Diana in Spencer.

Impressive as always with her youthful splendour, Zendaya pulled out all the style stops with her two-piece Valentino Couture ensemble and was dripping with diamonds. The Dune star wore pieces from Bulgari’s high jewellery collection, including the Serpenti Viper necklace in white gold set with 13 carats of step-cut diamonds, Serpenti Viper white gold bracelets and diamond rings.

5. Timothée Chalamet

Heartthrob Timothée Chalamet reportedly turned heads in the crowd as he appeared shirtless on the red carpet. The sartorially unconventional actor wore a black embroidered lace tuxedo jacket with lace trimmings from Louis Vuitton’s spring/summer 2022 womenswear collection designed by Nicolas Ghesquière and fitted trousers.

For jewellery, the Dune star chose a pendant in the iconic Panthère de Cartier collection, a distinctive design in white gold encrusted with emeralds, onyx and diamonds, plus multiple diamond rings from the brand. Chalamet is an ambassador for Cartier fine jewellery.

Kidman donned several items from the brand’s New York collection, such as the diamond earrings, a ring and the Eagle Yellow Diamond Necklace, which features a gorgeous 33.4-carat yellow diamond set in 18k yellow gold and platinum.

She was named the best supporting actress for her role as Anita in Steven Spielberg’s musical remake West Side Story. DeBose wore a Valentino Couture dress and accessorised it with De Beers diamond jewellery, such as layered diamond line necklaces that totalled 37.5 carats, diamond stud earrings and diamond rings.
