World Records are always something to get excited about. Guinness has made an entire franchise from world records and they have certified this is the longest shot according to the video. The excitement of a world record still exists today, and we have a new world record for the longest Sniper shot in Warzone.
DefendTheHouse has been "myth-busting" have been trying to figure out what the longest possible sniper shot is. They previously were using vehicle hit markers to test their experiments. The max distance they viewed was about 2495 meters. Now, with the addition of custom Warzone lobbies, DefendTheHouse no longer needs to resort to vehicle hit markers, but can actually use other players to see how far they can eliminate a player.

The method of using the custom Warzone lobby with multiple players gathered around the same spot is definitely a great idea. With little room for error, it's better to use multiple players to increase the chance of landing the shot. Finally, after a lot of trial and error, they get a kill at 3047.71 meters.
While this is an incredibly long shot, it is in a custom lobby with players willing to die. If we were to ever see another sniper shot anywhere near this distance in a competitive scene, that would be a whole different level of talent.
